Good luck! Have fun at your races, both of you.
I've entered a 10k at the end of September but it might be a little too soon after my marathon to get down to 45 minutes. That's my target time for the end of the year. I should squeeze under 50 at Bourn.

Yeah, I'll be aiming for a sub-50 this autumn/September. It may be a big ask given that my current PB is just under 57 but I'm almost a stone lighter than I was when I set that and am training well, plus.........you gotta have a goal

Forgot to say, I missed out on the sub 50 on Sunday, running 51:18 at Glenrothes.
It was a 30 second PB though and as I have 2 or 3 other 10k's coming up over the summer I'm still hopeful I'll be in the 49:xx range before the year is out
