Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Joking aside, if I remain injury- and illness-free for the next 12 days, I can't imagine not doing it.

Good luck! Have fun at your races, both of you.

I've entered a 10k at the end of September but it might be a little too soon after my marathon to get down to 45 minutes. That's my target time for the end of the year. I should squeeze under 50 at Bourn.

Yeah, I'll be aiming for a sub-50 this autumn/September. It may be a big ask given that my current PB is just under 57 but I'm almost a stone lighter than I was when I set that and am training well, plus.........you gotta have a goal ;-)

Forgot to say, I missed out on the sub 50 on Sunday, running 51:18 at Glenrothes.

It was a 30 second PB though and as I have 2 or 3 other 10k's coming up over the summer I'm still hopeful I'll be in the 49:xx range before the year is out :-)
