Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I think it’s a bit tougher than you expect due to the narrow twisty path and soft surface.

I did the south by 5 2 years ago, great set of races and great to see some of the wilder sides of Glasgow south side parks. Would recommend!

Bella Park has a wilder side? Maybe that's why it's on January 2nd. I couldn't stick Linn Park on a map, out of those.

Linn Park will be tough, it always is, and there's some 'interesting' bits of Bellahouston Park in January.

From folk that have done it, if you like trails and mud and some hills, its for you.

Looking to do Oriam in December. Would be travelling by train but see hotel prices are shocking the week before Christmas. Where would we best to seek accommodation to do both the parkrun but be close enough to do the attractions in Edinburgh? TIA folks

Oriam isn’t handy. There is a hotel at hermiston gate on the tramline so can get to town but it’s probably two miles from there to oriam.

Oh right thanks. We’ve done Portobello before so was just thinking of one we haven’t done. Would we better with Cramond then?
