I was daft enough to omit this critical detail and had to run back the bloody road. Saying that, I don't think I had the option of another vehicle 🙂 |

I've done it 3 times, used a bike twice, and then the bus the other time.

The wee beastie
I went to see 3000 feet last night. A new film about the history of munros with some interesting insights from Finlay Wild and Jamie Aarans. Worth watching if you get the chance. kevinwoods.co.uk

I got some Cioch trousers and an old North Face soft shell repaired by a mob called Scottish Mountain Gear if anyone needs. Pleased with both. |

Taking advantage of the last day of decent weather for a while and did the Ben Lawers 7 today - been up them all multiple times, but had never done the whole group in a oner, even though it's on my doorstep, but for some reason had never got round to it. With just one car, did it as a loop from Glen Lyon. Big day, over 2100m ascent, but conditions were superb, apart from not as much water in the burns as usual which meant a wee diversion to fill up the water bottles |

That sounds like a great use of the weather window.
