18th September date confirmed, automatic transfers or apply for a refund. I plan to go. Either my last long run before the Chester Metric Marathon or a chance to train for the distance and have two bites at the cherry.

Almost tempted to make it my one road race for the year (I'm assuming Windermere won't happen). It is a lovely course.

I've got my fingers crossed just enough for Windermere that I might make a grid and start a training plan. But I'm no longer all that invested in the idea of races happening any time soon.

Quite possibly, Sushi. Go for it :) I'm hoping our holiday cottage booking locally for March will be cancelled and we'll be able to rebook for September.

Do you think we’ll be fine not to have it cancelled by September? I’m just trying not to get any hopes up for longer term planning and just enjoying the here and now as much as poss.

I think we might defer to 2022, giving it a bit more time to be safe.

Speculating on such matters is well above my pay grade but I don't mind working on the assumption that it will take place in September.

Just looked at the elevation profile on Fetch and the course seems like a big hill until mile 5 then...
