Thanks, Mrs J :)

I'm not looking forward to the trip, but hope to be able to salvage a bit of a holiday from it.

Hope it stops raining for you (it's been raining persistently, though not heavily, for days).

On the other hand, if you come out to Elan the waterfalls will be well worth seeing.

I was just starting to think about a training plan for next year and this was the first race in my 2021 portfolio.

Although their website still has it listed for 6th March 2021, I notice that on Facebook they say they have decided to postpone it until 18th September.

No great surprise really.

I haven't had any correspondence about the change of date :( But yes, no great surprise.

Mrs Jigs (Luverlylegs)
I was expecting an email to cancel/postpone any day now as my other 2 spring races that had been postponed have now been postponed again to 2022.

As before, we have accommodation booked and we'll still go if travel to Wales is allowed by then. 16th September is three weeks before Chester, which should allow just enough recovery time.

I hadn't had any correspondence either and the new date is just 2 weeks before London, so will probably use it as a last long run if they both go ahead. It all feels a very long time away!

Might work up to this in 2022 - the race where one year I was sunburned, another year in fear of frostbite when a big snow cloud dumped right at the top of the hill!

Just looked at the elevation profile on Fetch and the course seems like a big hill until mile 5 then...
