8 years ago today, I drove to the race with Becca7, ran to the top of the big hill, then miles 6-11 down the other side were a total white out blizzard with snow quickly settling on roads, getting a bit better after that. Never contemplated death in a race before, thought if I had to stop at that point I’d be covered in snow and be found years later by explorers. Respect to the marshals! |
