Anyone running this Sunday? I'm doing the 20-miler to 'celebrate' turning 54 at the weekend. Out to prove that age is but a number! |

A 20-miler is a serious big deal for me (the longest I'll have ever run except for seven marathons). The aim is to treat it as time trial and do each and every mile at 8.30 per mile pace. That equates to 2:50 overall. The logic is that if I'm fit enough to achieve that, then I should be able to run a sub-4 PB in May's MK marathon - ie do the last 10kms in 70 mins. All well and good in theory of course, but.......... |
