Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Anyone else doing this? It's my first 20 mile run ever so I'm a bit scared.

Not doing it this year but have done a few in the past. Certainly one of my favourite runs once the first 7 miles is out of the way ! The following 14 over the Edges are fantastic. Have you run much over similiar terrain ?

It's a lovely run. Wanted to do this but not fit enough by far. You'll love it. Pace yourself for the first 7 miles - it's a bit steep in places. The rest is just beautiful scenery. Enjoy it!

Done it several times as it virtually starts at my front door. The Derwent Edge to Stanedge Edge transition is a bit contrived and needs care - after that its a pretty nice levelish run. Its a very laid back event. Say hello to the sheep on Derwent Edge - most of them are mine :-)

Hello, I loved it. We ran it as a group of 6 and finished in 4h57. Scenery was stunning, the run was challenging but I think I'll be back next year :-)
