Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

For the sessions, can you download them to play later? Like on the site it is saying play session, but where I will be using them likely won't have wi-fi?

S'ok, I already like the sire as the Q & A section is actually answering all my questions. A rarity!

For me, part of the thing about Headspace was realising that I *could* carve a few minutes out of my day for myself. Not that I'm a regular "practiser" by any means. But if I feel stressed by the amount I have to do or the number of idiots (sorry, colleagues) asking me for stuff I feel more able to walk away for 15 minutes and do something else - read a book, walk round the block, anything to get me away.

That's good to know. With the non-running I know I have some free time for something like this, despite me feeling like I am going at 100% miles an hour. If this site just does that for me, it's something.

It's not a panacea, but lots of people find it useful. If you're finding it hard sleeping I found a podcast recently which is kinda crazy but good. So very odd it sort of puts you in a good mood but also strangely soporific. I think it's called Sleep With Me.

Get out and listen to the birds singing. Learn a bird song a day. Watch the sunrise and set. Look at the trees and plants grow. Check how the lambs are growing. Listen out for the first chiffchaff. Lok out for the first sand martin. Throw out your tv. Spend less time on-line. Tea about history or religion. Learn to play a musical instrument. Loads to do . . . :-)

Oh it probably is, I forgot you blogged about it McG (can't keep up with all the things you do!) It's in the iTunes chart so it's obviously popular, I usually sleep really well just listening to normal podcasts but after a few bad nights lately I went looking for something new. I can see why it could be effective :)
