Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Hi guys,

Had a few life things so far this year, and coupled with some health issues I am coming to the conclusion that I am a bit stressed out. Well more than a bit. No need for details though and will be mentioned at the doc's next time I go see him.

In the meantime, do any of you guys have any regular things you do to chill put? Of course the internet has a wealth of info and programmes, many asking for money, which I don't have!

A few kinds of music, good comedy (there's an awful lot of comedy about that is basically nastiness; I wouldn't recommend that.)

Interesting, at least worth a shot, thanks McG. And thanks Chris. Keep thinking about getting some more relaxing music on the ipod.

There's a lot of free stuff on mindfulness as McG has linked to. Smiling Mind is a good one as well. I find it very useful for taking a bit of time out from my mind just running on and on.

Hope you fond somethng that works.

Headspace is good. And I know running is tricky right now, but just staying active in other ways is good for stress. Even walking works. And talking to people (I know lots of men are shit at this...)

Haha, that is very true. Kinda find it hilarious that I am stressed, but when I add up the things going on I guess I shouldn't be surprised. And yes the non-running certainly doesn't help. Thankfully been cleared for some light exercise bike stuff for now, so that is at least something.

Three votes for Headspace does make it sound good.
