Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

I used to make my own jeans as a teenager in the 80s as I wanted black jeans but couldn't find any in my size (I was an old school 30" waist size 16).

Trousers aren't really so tricky and if you make them yourself you can make sure they fit everything properly - just cut the pattern to the size of your largest measurement and adjust anything else down after trying them on.

It was quite a straight forward pattern - the front is flat and there is elastic at the back (no zips!). It was a day workshop at a local sewing shop. It was a closetcore pattern for pietra trousers (thinking of making a second pair!)

I have received the cross-stitch kit today, for making a wedding present for my friend. I will have questions.

ION, I ordered some print on demand fabric over two weeks ago with a view to making a (simple) dress for the wedding, which is a week today. It hasn't been dispatched yet, which makes me think it won't be here in time - so will have to think of alternatives pronto!

My friend has just discovered Attic24, now I'm tempted again. (I resisted because the cat would ruin it)

I use watercolours on a regular basis, almost every week!

I’ve been lurking quite a bit but I’m always going crafty things and enjoying seeing what everyone else is making even if I don’t always comment!!
