Spoiler alert :-)

My elegant proof was of course that none of the pieces on the board could possibly cover f3 and g2 in a single move. Realising that it's possible to move two pieces took an embarrassingly long time!

Yes that's why I was disappointed it took so long myself as I could see the issue was g2 immediately.

I solved it today without help, first time doing so this late in the week. It seemed easier than usual though.

Didn’t need the help but didn’t get the first move initially. Once I had that then it became clear. I’m not usually clever enough to see the whole sequence
