Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Wow kazzaaah. You started out with 10 minutes in mind and did 10 miles instead. Good on ya! I did about 4.5 miles roughly, with intervals as follow: 1 Mile warm up, 3 x 4 minutes fast, with 2 min recoveries, 10 minutes jog. Awful weather, cold and windy with a little drizzle just to add to the pleasure.

Not good today :-( :-(
Peeing down with rain so waited for 5 mins until it calmed down, set off then 3 mins later peeing down again :-(
Had sore knees (although right one got better after 1 mile) but generally felt OK (if somewhat damp) then started getting an ache 2" below left knee towards outside of leg (not shin splints I think as it felt more like mild cramp that wouldn't go away) so ended up walking in sections.
Ended up a slow 4 (ish) miler.

At least the shower was warm when I got home!

Ultra Kazzaaaaah!!
SF, I knew that I really should be doing something like a 10 miler but given how I've felt since FLM I promised myself I wouldn't beat myself up if it turned into something less than that. I think that a combination of the sunshine and taking the pressure off myself was what I needed. As I went along I just kept changing my intended route - first of all it was going to be thro' the park and back, then I decided to extend the loop, then when I got to the turn-round point I extended it again. If I'd had the weather you had it might have been a different story!!

kaz (if that's not too familiar'), that had to feel good. That is a real accomplishment, a true indication that you're back on form.
