Thanks Beejay. Realise from readind one of the other threads that it is my piriformis that is giving me grief. The same thing happened on the other side, but not as bad, when I needed new shoes. I was putting off getting new ones til I had had my op to remove a bunion and a Morton's neuroma which is scheduled for 16th May. Don't think I'll be able to run before that anyway.

Had a fantastic run today. First run since February since getting Pleurisy. Only 1.7 miles but ran it all and didn't feel bad. Will go out tomorrow but will be taking it easy and nice and careful whilst everything gets back to normal. Yipee!!!!

Bon voyage, Beejay Welcome back, Hillbilly
I still fail to see how a machine that advises me to do 13-minute miles is going to make me a faster runner.
