Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

How was your run today?

Jogged to Serpe LFOM 5km start and back. Did 21.11 for the race which is my best but still some room for improvement. Met Siamese Pete on way over.

Twas lovely...5 miles along the shore front in Ayr (a chance to get away from funeral talk for an hour) :-(

last mile was harsh...running into the wind in the full sunshine and heat (yes it does get hot up here) some of the run was on the sand..which was interesting.

Tomorrow I shall try a little 3 miler..that's all.

another very slow and unfeasibly short run... this mara recovery thing is over-rated... (extra lie-in notwithstanding) ;-)

v-rap: not being funny or anything, but are you sure you really want to be going 12 miles 6 days after FLM?? i know you're aiming for white peak mara in may + you've been doing more miles than me thro the last few months - and i am still *totally* wrecked after sunday...!! HR training is one thing, but i really wouldn't be surprised if you just aren't recovered? it was tough out there...

tell me to butt out... gladly...
