Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

How was your run today?

There's no following Bouncers assertion that you gotta love immodium! So on that bombshell....I ran without the aid immodium and changed the run part way through from a 10K to an attempt to beat my pb for a hilly 4.2m circuit. These hills are hooooooooge! Well, they are slopes of some kind. Anyway, back to the plot....I am an achiever! Beat my pb by nearly half a minute....which I guess really means I am a slacker and dont run proper most days :(

I enjoyed my run, 5 miles with miles 2,3 & 4 at faster pace :-) , my left calf ached afterwards though which bothered me, plus toe is much worse, black blisters and very sore :-( .

Careful with the toe LL. :-)

I did a 5 miler just over with 1 mile warm up, four miles at average 7:47 miles/min pace - even going uphill for .5 mile! I'm well chuffed with that and I think my speed is improving...
Used teh last .3 miles of 5.3 to cool down a bit...

toe nail has been damaged, tip and side of toe are blisterd, this has been on going for quite a few eeks now, I bought some new shoes with a wider toe box to try to ease the problem but it hasn't made any difference, wish I had saved the £72!
