Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Meant to do a tempo run but my HR was low after the first mile that I decided to try and keep it that way. It worked too and am wondering if it is because I haven't run since Saturday although I have cross trained. I didn't take music either so that may have helped. Was quite good anyway. :-)

A nice 5.3miler, incorporating 1st "hill session" of the year - each of the hill reps done a couple of seconds quicker than the last time I did them.

Annoyed at myself.

After long run yesterday I woke up with my legs a little sore & a little tired so I decided, rather than run at 7am, to go back to bed for an hour & run this evening. Legs feel fine now but I totally forgot I have to meet my girlfriend so wont have time to fit the run in.

Even though today was a scheduled recovery run maybe a total rest day after the long is for the best - initially at least the bottom of my achilies & what ever is either side of them seem to be getting very tight with this increased running but seem to have loosened up from walking about

Weird ! First time i have run in teh fog - visibility nil, headtorch waste of time, very nervous (country lanes, unlit) - couldn't tell where the road edge (or the ditches) were. Gave up after a mile, felt like I was running on eggshells - very uncomfortable. A lesson learned for me.
