(((Pudd))) I think you need a rest before your 10K. Take it easy, look after yourself and see how you feel. There's no sense in trying to train this close to a race if you feel bad when you do. Relax and give yourself the best possible chance to get over whatever it is that's bringing you down.

Don't worry Pud - we all have stages like that - it will pass!
I had really bad run last night, but much improved tonight. Still a way to go to get back to pre-Christmas levels though.

(((Pudd))), calm down, take it easy have a rest and you'll be fine.
On race day, set off STEADILY, make sure you don't go haring off with teh adrenaline, rein it in, relax, settle into it and see how you feel

Good, relaxing 7.3 miles. Hoped to run a little faster, but had a good run anyway. Gonna do the same route tomrrow as a recovery run.
Been on a course at work today, and one thing we discussed was relaxing after a bad day at work, be it having a drink, a smoke, eating chocolate or beasting yourself at the gym or similar. Ive always noticed that I feel so much better after a good run, because of the endorphanes (spelling), but didnt realise the good effect they had until I got to the highest point of the run, face on into the wind, and thinking "flippin' ;eck, this is nice". Not that I'd had a stressful day today, sat listening to trainers telling me stuff and drinking the free coffee, I just really noticed the effects of a good run for a change!

B.B.
Just did my club track session (I rarely get to go, but work was quiet, so I dashed out at 6)
It was a 3K time trial, which I managed in 11:11. I pushed like crazy at the end and probably should have pushed a little harder earlier as average HR was not quite high enough. Good marker for the start of the season though
Including warm up and down prob about 8K
