Did a session i read about in Rw which is warm up then do 30secs fast,30secs recovery until you flake. decided to do 6 x 30secs as an intro which was ok & will build from there.
my Garmin is telling me my average HR is 48 after this session. Do i need a new chest strap battery or what?

Well I'm going to have a grumble.
I went out on a measly 3 miles last night and had possibly the worst run of my life. I am not exaggerating. I hated every step. It was meant to 5 miles but I gave up, which always makes me hate myself and I very, very rarely let it happen.
What is that all about? Why does it happen? What's the matter with me? waah waah whine whine etc.
I felt like I had never run before and will never be able to run again.

P looked at your training log... was it your first run since before Christmas? if so don't be too hard on yourself... take it easy and soon you will be skipping along again

Thanks FP & Rhino.
Yes, it was the first one since before Christmas. It felt like I had lost everything, all my fitness completely.
I know it happens, but it's awful. I like to feel good after my runs... anyhoo, I'll stop being such a big baby now!
