10.30 last night. Buck Moon and fresh westerly winds made for a typically high tide for the conditions. A dozen or more anglers at Burbo Bank, fishing for sea bass. North on sand for 2.5 miles; turned at coastguard's and trail & prom S, with a stretch of beach near the lakes, 61 min.

Been making myself get up in the morning for a 2 mile run, every little bit helps. Overcast this morning- planning to start open water swimming- after taking Lemmy into the sea on Sunday (lemmy =English bull terrier, not the motor head one) |

Bit of a comeback from injury and a fall the other week. A few easy runs then today 5x400 at bit faster than half marathon pace with 400 recovery followed by 7 x 200 at around 5/10k pace. Felt good |

10.30 last night. No humans, no hounds: just a few unfortunate, stranded jellyfish on the beach. Down prom, inland beside docks, trail between the lakes and a sandy loop beyond the baths before a rare tarmac finish on the cycle path. 64 min.
