Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Fabulous run at the Ely New Years Eve 10k.

The leaden feeling of Saturday is long gone.

Really pleasing to end the year on a positive note. :)

Last run of the year, two miles in pouring rain, got let off work early so was effectively being paid to run and loved every soggy minute of it!

Not feeling fit enough to race, I took a little run with the hound over the local hills, wind jolly strong. Met a local farmer who wasn't keen on my dog being off the lead (she's rarely been on a lead in four years) so in future she will be on a lead crossing his land. We had a chat and I'm going to org a race which will cross his land later in the year.

Hills were really busy with families and people out, I was polite and wished all and sundrie 'Happy New Year' No one about on the quite back tracks tho, nice. Dog absolutely filthy by the time we got home and had to spend some time first hosing myself down, then cleaning the dog.

Knee still not perfect, but runnable :-)

Replaced by a turbo training session. My moon hurts now. I need to go and run to iron out my glutes.

another cracker, a bit stop start, going to see a local farmer, the back lane (which rarely has any traffic) was quite busy. so had to stop to let the traffic through. On the way back had to stop with the dog to allow a farmer space to unload sheep into a field. Weather conditions just about spot on.
