Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Tonights run was mostly (entirely) in the dark, with the dog (wearing her new flashing collar) along very muddy tracks ,over one decent hill, with very thick fog (first time for many years I've had to look hard to see the ground!!) Descents really hard cos of fog and my own breath adding to it. Fotpaths very thin and very muddy and did slip over twice, once going uphill. Head torch beam seemed to be a bit weak. Was jolly tired by the end. The dog is now asleep.

7 sub-70% miles. Lovely, actually. I'm really feeling the buzz from the runs now I'm not doing so much.

10 miles this morning. 6 other runners out and got a nice smile from a blonde I saw twice. Even a tiny bit of acknowledgement for the first time from this woman out running who lives down the road and takes her kids to the school around the corner from me.

Really want to go out earlier around 6am but this year, for some reason, running in the dark doesn't appeal. Loads last year and couldn't wait to get out into it.

Another 10 miles mostly in the dark around estates etc and 4mins slower than yesterday's run :(

Usual cyclists wearing black clothing and cycling at speed on the footpaths with no lights. To be honest, everyone seems to wear dark clothing and stick to dimly lit areas when it's dark.
Did find though that a 250m long back road has more street lighting than half the town.
