Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Cambridge parkrun. It was good fun but very busy. Nearly fell over and had to take it easy for a bit and missed my PB by 16 seconds. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing anyway.

Sorry to read that, CC. It makes me feel a bit guilty for saying how much I enjoyed my run today. I'm a week from my first marathon and I'm not enjoying cutting back and tapering. Today was my last "significant" run. 8 miles, easy pace. I feel so much more relaxed after that.

It won't last.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I just got it wrong today, usually I love running. Good luck in your marathon.

Not posted on this thread for a while cos of injury, however Ive now joined a gym and whilst running on a treadmill isnt ideal it does mean I can build up my stamina again and dive off it if my achilles goes awol and tonight I managed 3 x 20 min sessions on the tready without any pain or problems, which is nice :)
