long tour of west and northwest Newcastle. Blowy. Took in the panoramic view from the town moor's hills on the way back. Had to have a seat nearer home!

FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Haven't run 10 miles in many months. The last time was back in April at the Southend HM - and that I ended up run/walking after family health issues prevented me from doing any training for 6 weeks beforehand.
So today at the Mersea 10 after been back in training for a while I was going to be really cheesed off if I took longer than 1Hr 40 but set watch for 1.35. Main aim today was to try and run the whole 10 miles though.
Am very please to annouce that I not only ran non stop without a single walking break, but that I finished in 1:29:55 - the very frist race that I have ever managed to avaerage less than 9 minutes miles!! (albeit on 8.59).
YAH ME!!!!

Stander I was 5 sec behind you for a PB. And that was with those 2 miles at 7:40 in the sand and wind.
Well done!
