Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

long tour of west and northwest Newcastle. Blowy. Took in the panoramic view from the town moor's hills on the way back. Had to have a seat nearer home! :-o

FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haven't run 10 miles in many months. The last time was back in April at the Southend HM - and that I ended up run/walking after family health issues prevented me from doing any training for 6 weeks beforehand.

So today at the Mersea 10 after been back in training for a while I was going to be really cheesed off if I took longer than 1Hr 40 but set watch for 1.35.
Main aim today was to try and run the whole 10 miles though.

Am very please to annouce that I not only ran non stop without a single walking break, but that I finished in 1:29:55 - the very frist race that I have ever managed to avaerage less than 9 minutes miles!! (albeit on 8.59).

YAH ME!!!!

Stander I was 5 sec behind you for a PB. :-) And that was with those 2 miles at 7:40 in the sand and wind.

Well done!
