Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Mick, that's bloody amazing in this heat :)

Still quite warm when my son and I went out at 8.45pm. 4.16 miles at 12.09mm pace. For a young lad, he's good at holding back rather than going off like a sprinter :)

I did Stanstead 10k today. Was bloody hot!
Someone here warned me about the big hill at 9k, but nobody said anything about the ones at 3k, 5k, 7k & 8k.
During the race today I decided to switch to a run/walk approach to getting round.
I ran the downhill bits and walked the uphill bits!

More a case of bloody mindedness that got me around today. Crap time, and must give up the fags again.

10.5 warmish miles but cunningly arranged to involve much tree cover ;)

I ended up jogging in the swimming pool at the leisure centre, much to the amusement of 2 groups of pubescant boys, one of whom I suggested would benefit from swimming a couple of lengths rather than jumping in to see how far he could fling himself and his wake!
