Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

DARK.

Took top and jacket today and was sweating buckets after 3 miles. Stopped at home after 3 miles to ditch the torch I had been carrying and took jacket off. Mistake. 3 miles of sweat was then cooling on me over the next 3 miles. And I cannot go past 5 miles now without it feeling like a marathon. Might rest tomorrow as normally as I want to get a 9 miler in on Friday.

Cor I missed all the replies last night. Yes Siouxie it's great. I was almost running for an hour I'm that slow. It took me 48 minutes to do 4 miles. But I did keep my HR down as much as I could. I was very tired when I had finished as it was very windy in whatever direction I ran in. I've been running for almost 2 years now but keep getting injured so that's why it's taken so long to get this far. I do love it though. Thanks for everyone's encouragement. I couldn't do it without you. Fetch is fab.

H all

Am new to Fetch and have been reading back through the posts - have been running for many years and built up my times veeery gradually. I did feel I would never be able to run for an hour but it does come. The person who said run slowly is rght. I can now run for 1.75 hrs BUT I'm not very fast!! Am not built for speed but for comfort (!) but the sense of achievement is wonderful.

Very impressed with the site BTW!
