Full of cold so had to take blow my nose breaks lol !!!! 11 miles in 1:28 felt ok but be better if I could breathe out my nose ...damn cold I got the Perch next week.

Frimley 8 mile canal run - nice and scenic first race of year - 11th in my age group and 79th overall so very pleased, and finally over 60 WAVA too

My run was very good
Despite lingering sinus cold I was eager to get out and go for a run. Decided to shoot for a 30 minute jaunt over lightly rolling hills. As I have a race next saturday a wanted to make today's effort around 160avgHR and keep the pace steady throughtout. Final performance stats for the 30 minute run: (4.60mi@6:31mm with HR recovery to 120bpm in 65seconds). Given my slight breathing difficulty this was very pleasing to see that my body was still okay despite

10 miles approx, decided to sprint finish and nearly got myself knock down, despite the high vis things the mad racer boy claimed not to see me. It bright bloody yellow n if people didnt drive so fast pulling out o junctions at half nine at night runners would be safer.
