Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Surprisingly OK although the pavements in Darlington are very bad.

Snowing! Not much of the pavment lacked snow or crud...7.5 miles, no being poked in the eye by a tree tonight. Which is a plus point.

Slow. 11k but running on snow is tough. V pleased I got out there though. Rejigging this week's schedule a bit: I should do 5 miles tomorrow am and then 4 or 5 pm, but I may just do the one session and then a medium run on Friday (that means 6 to 8 miles for me right now). I am learning that yes, age does catch up with you. Or me.

Brilliant to be out and about, ran local country roads, slushy and lots of surface water from the fields but safe under foot, until I came back down onto the main roads....too many cars to run so icy paths it was...not too bad. Did 3 miles :-)

Well done, MeLAR :)

5 miles on decent surfaces but had to keep eyes peeled for black ice. Best surface of all was Crosby promenade :)
