very tough out and back 6.5 miles. Pavements semi frozen deep snow. Took my wife's great uncle some shopping at mid point and then pushed some old codger's car out of the snow...so pretty rewarding as well. Ache like a b@stard now - especially the calves!

Just over 4 blissful miles round Regents Park...most of the ponds had frozen and there were a few snowmen...scariest part was when a bunch of primary school kids came flying through a gate hurling snowballs:-) ![]() facebook.com |

A tentative run/walk to & through Holyrood park to try and chase out the last of my chesty cough. Not quite gone, but that helped. Maybe 3 miles all told. Nice to feel my legs moving again.

3.5 miles on mix of crunchy snow, solid ice and the odd bit of tarmac ...snuggled up in thermals, slow but who cares-it's kind of fun:-)

Fantastic and a sanity saver. Dithered around all day then finally got out for a cold, blustery and meagre 1.4 miles. But, boy, did I need that!
