Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Good running Lums.

4 months to knock off 4 mins. That means you should be at 40 min 10k by next July :-)

Had a brilliant run today - was gonna goe for a steady 9 miler but felt good at 7 miles and decided to stretch it out to just over 13 miles in honour of all the Great Northers! Well done to all of them BTW...

My longest run since the Reading Half this year.

First run today for about 3 weeks. Only went out to do a very short run, was half expecting to need to walk after 3minutes, but managed a whole mile in one go. 12minutes, which is ok for me. I know it's not far at all, but got to build it up really gradually this time.

Lums, that's the longest run I've ever done on my own. I was feeling really strong up until 20 miles and then I stopped to pick up a gel and swap drinks bottles that I had left in my front garden. Suddenly the run seemed to get so much harder. I thought that I would find the last 4 easy, for the simple fact that they were the last 4 miles.

Yes, well done topcorner and M4P.

Lums, 3:30 is the aim. I took 3:30:33 for 24.04 miles today (after yesterday's 10 mile marathon pace run), so hopefully I should be able to increase the pace to run an extra 2.2 miles in around the same time.
