Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Ian, I'm very jealous. If you'd stopped for a pint in the 3 Merry Lads, that would be Rave Run material.

Just got back from a quickish 18 miler at 8min pace. From home to Putney and around the Thames path round to Kew Bridge, over it and then back the way I came. After about 45 mins it started p!ssing it down, and it didn't stop til I got home. For much of the time it was torrential!! The path was really muddy and soaked. One of the most enjoyable runs I can remember!!
And I got my pacing perfect - exactly 8min/mile. Good hard weekend after Yasso's yesterday. HERE COMES THE TAPER!! Woo hooo!!

Mac, no stop off at the Three Merry Lads but a rave run nevertheless. I'm going to make it a regular Sunday run this one, it was stunning!

BB, that's some pace. Wish I could do that over 18 miles :-).

I probably shouldn't have done that pace, Ian, but I didn't have the motivation to do 20m slow, so thought I'd do a slightly faster slightly shorter effort. I have done three 20 milers, all nice and slow, so think I can get away with a faster session. Just don't tell the EVIL (that's E V I L) one, ok?!

Sounds like my run last night BB except mine wasn't as long. Bet I was just as wet though.

Ian-Stunning runs don't happen as often as we'd like do they, but it's what makes running worthwhile.

Well I thought it was a tad fast for training but then you are a fast runner. I'll not say anything to Gobi though, he'll never know ;-)

Rebel, absolutely, I recommend getting off road and into moorland or peaks any day. It's a different kind of running and its great for your ankles and stuff :-)
