Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Rain again - hate it. Other than that, good run. 10 miles at marathon pace. Just scraped past 200 miles for the second month in a row.

Hi natsospeedy and welcome to Fetch. :-)

Decent article here that explains it but basically try to control your breathing and do core stability exercises. :-)

More detail in the article...

12.44M av pace 7 52, HR 139 off road. BUT sl flawed by carefully disguised loop of wire on bridleway carelessly abandoned from electric fencing from now empty pig field. Didn't see it,it snared my ankle and I literally went flying. Not sure how i landed but realised my Garmin was missing. The strap had been wrenched off & the screen is scraped but ok apart from that. R knee & both elbows dripping blood & my l hip somehow. That was 5 miles in & am fine apart from wounds which is a stroke of luck. As i went round the corner having gathered myself saw man in tractor. Flagged him down to give him health & safety advice. Unfortunately he was Polish & seemed unmoved by my bloodstained self!

had good nearly 10 mile run today, felt strong all the way so might manage decent time in felixstowe half next week after all. lovely weather and nice and crisp at 7 am. glad i made the effort as i could have quite easily gone back to sleep.
Got a bit confused with above? thought BM had fallen over a pole sticking out of a tractor, now i understand, hope you are ok BM, hate it when that happens, I normally manage to fall over nothing at all. hope no horses get caught up in it. farmer should be told off about that at least.
