Well done Rebel, as Blott's Mate says, give it plenty of time. It was a good 8-10 weeks before I noticed an improvement but it was totally worth it

Expected a hard run today, but got a surprisingly easy run. I was going to do a couple of hours work in the other gym that I work in and then do a run in the lookout over the road afterwards. I had planned my route and was just about to set off for the gym when I got a call from the lesirure centre asking me if I could work afternoon/evening because two instructors were off sick. So I had to change my plans and go out for a run immediately, using a route that I run far too regularly, with a couple of extensions added in.
Given that I felt so tired during my run yesterday and also felt tired this morning, my head told me that I was really going to find this 11.5 mile run tough. Right from the start I had no problem and couldn't really understand why I found it so easy. Surely can't have been that horrible rain, which I have managed to avoid running in for months now. I don't want to run in it for months again.

Nice gentle 4 miles in the dark, trying to sweat out a cold before race on Sunday.
Got some smiles and 'good mornings' from people, which is always a bonus...
