Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Evening all. It must be a day for intervals, as I've just come back from the track where I had a great Yasso's session.

Despite the drinking last night with my golf team I felt pretty good. Managed my Yasso's in an average of 2:53. To put into context the last time I did this I did 2:57 average. Really encouraged by my progress.

The first three were 2.50, but that slowed to 2:52 to 2:56 before a hard push for 2:50 for the tenth and final one.

After progress like this I will be gutted if I don't finally have a good marathon in three weeks.

The last 4 miles were very tiring, but the first 20 were good. Perhaps it was the fact that I did two 10 mile loops and a 4 mile loop, returning past my house at the end of each loop. I left drinks and energy gels in my front garden, and I think stopping off second time ruined my momentum.

Enforced rest day because the gym is closed - it's a festival day of some sort apparently.

Ian, I'm very jealous. If you'd stopped for a pint in the 3 Merry Lads, that would be Rave Run material.
