Velociraptor
Pleasant 6.16 miles off-road in hot weather and the mankiest underfoot conditions I could find, on slightly tired legs.
Loved it

Hot hot 12 miles on forest trails. Fist long run since Windy so felt the hilsl a bit but glad to have done it. 7 tomorrow. Tried out my new Garmin 101 and it managed to get me back to start of run- essential for me on forest runs always end up lost and doing 3 times the distance!!LOL

Gorleston Cliffs Parkrun 5k 21-07 with 7.5 miles warm up and 18 miles warm down
A bit of experimental day that was very practical too
Actually 7 runs in total mostly as a form of transport with only the race itself and the longest run being the exceptions.
1 - 3.3 miles to Norwich station 2 - 3.8 miles from Great Yarmouth station to Gorleston Cliffs 3 - Parkrun 5k plus strides 3.5 miles 4 - 3.5 miles back to GY station via a slightly more direct route 5 - 8.7 miles from Thurston station to Bury rugby club
6 - 2 miles to Bury station
7 - 3.8 miles home from Norwich station using longer quieter route

Normally my runs are at least 'cracking' but today's was truely stunning, out on the shropshire hills (the lawley) all to myself saw no one else at all. in beautiful sunshine before it gets hot, the views were fantastic. Lucky to live where I do.
Nice steady pace, legs still a bit stuffed from saturdays efforts, but the downhill bits were brill.
Cracking day, and hope you all have a cracking day.
