Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I haven't commented on my runs this week, but wednesday I was on a 10miler which was a struggle as I was feeling tired, but never the less I struggled on, at mile 9+ I heard a sound and stopped dead in my tracks, not 3 feet away in a field to my left stood 2 fallow deer watching me, what a fabulous sight, my reward for running!! after a few moments they bounded across the field! what a beautiful sight...........

beautiful!!!! :-)

Very very good. Only 3.33 miles (Canal in Brentford) but I loved the rain. Normally sweltering so makes a refreshing change.

Very happy.

Snuck in a run even though I said I probably would not run today. Took it easy, as once again I ran too soon after eating, and felt the weight of the fish and chips throughout the run. Went an easy 6 miles under grey skies. Got back just ahead of the rain. Watching out the window as it comes down right now.

What was this doing at the bottom of page 2?!

I did indeed get out the door at 6am in the dark, and it was lovely being in Richmond Park as the sun rose through the eerie mist. Really nice run. Bit quicker than I was looking for (8min/mile) but I had to get to work this morning so couldn't be out for 3hr plus. The good thing was that it felt really slow when I was doing it. My third and final 20m run for Chicago. Bring on the taper!!
