Fast, hilly, ten miles. Kept it under 7 m/m until the last couple of near-vertical uphill miles (which means that there was a lot of downhill during the first couple of course). Makes a change to run on tarmac instead of snow for a change.

Five miles at a very easy effort-level ... well, TBH, two-and-a-bit miles at a very easy effort-level, then I realised that my legs were completely OK and made them work a bit harder

I churned my run out... getting out the front door was an achievement. 4 miles in the cold snow.. I did it, felt crap before, during and after... if I can get out thie door feeling like this I can only draw a positive from tonight.. I must get some early nights....my heart rate was higher tonight than normal... maybe the cold or tiredness or both???Any advice on this welcome.
