Very short (20 mins) as I was a lazy git and hit snooze several times. A nice easy end to a cracking year....next run will be in 2009.

Two Towels.
Two minutes and two seconds quicker than Christmas day, and it was the same route, and it was not only quicker but just managed to rack up 500 Miles for the year, with one day to spare.................. phew!
Considering I tore all 3 ligaments in my right ankle in January, and had a pretty steady start to the year, I have got to be happy with that!

West Yorkshire Plodder
A very upsetting run today - an old bloke was out running with a mate and stopped to post a letter as I passed them. I heard footsteps behind me on the pavement then a strange noise, then his mate called for help - he had fallen and knocked himself out. It felt like it was my fault, if I hadn't been there he wouldn't have got a sudden competitive urge to catch and overtake me and probably wouldn't have fallen. The bloody ambulance took half an hour to reach him too, by which time he had come round and was talking a bit, but bleeding from his mouth/nose (and had thrown up).

A steady 8.5 along the canal. Nice but a bit chilly.
