Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

6 miles in the rain and freezing wind, up two tors, psychotic Jack Russell called Tilly yapping at our ankles and being outrun easily by the rabbits, choosing to nip us playfully instead. Homemade cakes at the end eaten in the shelter of a French recycling van, rather wonderful all in all.

Oops made it sound too glamourous - we weren't in the recycling van, just stood next to it to avoid the wind, being careful not to talk too loud in case some Frenchman/woman was asleep inside it :-)

3.5 miles of good off road paths up to the top of no man's lane, followed by a slight pull in the hamstring and a cautious return the same way, whilst my 7 companions completed the 12 mile route. looks like a couple of days off, so no cross country tomorrow in the anticipated inclement weather. :-(

Killer. Icy winds, running at dawn in the hills, wiggly random route that I haven't mapped a distance to yet. Feel like someone injected cavity wall insulation into my brain and all muscles.
