Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

8.74 miles at 8.30 this morning. It was far too hot but pleased with my efforts considering the heat.

Very, very warm. 'Twas the run leg of the Culford Triathlon, which advertised itself as 4.5k but was, I strongly suspect, much shorter. Two laps mainly on grass in the grounds of Culford School. NICE, as Gobi would say.

Extremely hot and humid - the hottest I can remember this year to be honest - was supposed to be a long slow run but the direct sunshine and very high temperature meant I shortened it and turned it into a Farlek.

Sticky and hot, even in Scotland. Had a long run (initially with club, but then on my own) that just grew and grew and ended up as a marathon. Funny thing is, I can still walk this evening.

Was supposed to be an 18 mile LSR, but the heat and lack of water caused me to pull up at about 11.

Very very tough.
