Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Cheers Hendo. I will have plenty of time to take it easy in 6 weeks time ;-)

Is that you top of the fetch fantasy prem league?

Another very slow, very hot, beetroot-coloured effort for me last night. I'm in a real slump right now, but no matter how slow I am, it's another hour on my feet which must be a good thing.

I have no idea BB - I registered a team, then thought I'd de-registered cos I don't have the time to run 4 teams (I have three elsewhere)!!

Katie - I'm with you, having a bad patch the last couple of weeks (not particularly good as Loch Ness Mara is in 4 weeks time....). Have managed to haul my fat arse out of the door for the past couple of days, need to get back on track but my body is screaming at me at the moment and I don't know why. Looking forward to the 20 miles I have scheduled for Sunday. Hmm. Keep it up girl.

Hendo - I was part of a RW thread for FLM this year, and about a dozen of us all went through a bad patch 4-6 weeks before the mara. I think it's fairly normal to feel a bit rough when your mileage is peaking but you've already had a lot of weeks of training behind you. Not long until you get to taper, so hang in there :)

Katie, just go slow if your body wants to, like you say, it's still time on feet. The heat must make things very difficult at times...

Hendo, me? nah, more like getting the colly wobbles prior to my first mara on Sunday :-)

Good luck on the 20 miler and enjoy :-)

You too Katie, I had a bad couple of weeks recently and it took a lot to get back out there again but 2 days slogging around on Weds and Thurs got me back on track for this morning. Sub 50min 6 miles and returned with all original internal organs - a first.
