Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Eastleigh B&Q 10K, cold, wet and windy. Started off too fast and paid for it. I felt sick, I had a stitch and at 5K I was going to pull out but I did'nt and went on to get a PB, 41:36 so I suppose "not too bad".

Fantastic.

Superb spring day, think I got a bit of Sun too. 22.22 miles (really!) with loads more in the tank. Gonna so PB next weekend at Alloa HM (I'd bet if I was you - in fact, I already have).

Got a new Personal Worst marathon time today, but understandable (I think!) as it's Britain's Toughest Marathon, all off-road so with this recent rain it made things a little worse!

Good fun though.
Gobi won the event, funny that!

Hill Work.

I had planned two laps of a 3 mile route around the hills in Thixendale however I just didn't have the energy. This was probably due to the fact that I was really busy over lunchtime at work today and ended up skipping lunch (tsk tsk).

Splits as follows:

Mile 1: 8.47 (steady as she goes)
Mile 2: 9:37 (Hill from Hell)
Mile 3: 6:43 (wee...what goes up comes down even faster)
211ft: 5.29 (blooming 'eck - I think I've just fallen off a cliff)
