Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Not quite as amazing as Santa, but 20 miles exactly, and the river thames was not really glistening at all. Nor were my legs, but it's the FINAL 20m+ in the bag.... and it's TAPER TIME!!!!!!!

Hey BB, I've been up along the river today....and around Green Park, Hyde park and Kensington Gardens.

I ran somewhere between 19.70 - 21 miles. The reason I dont know is because my garmin kept on loosing mileage e.g. I look and it says 19.11 go through a tunnel and it says 18.85, then 19.06 then back to 18.89. So I dont fepping know. Still it was my last long run before Berlin.....as BB says it's Taper Time......

An Absolute shocker! First - got Temporarily misplaced so my planned route went out of the window - then I had to do a big circle to get me back to where I'd been 2.5 miles ago. Then the wheels fell off BIG style just before 13 miles, necessitating a stop Some interesting transient stuff (I AM a Cardiac ITU nurse) going on in my chest, and then having to grind out the last nearly 5 miles at Run All Day pace/effort
Horrible - Hated it

The first one was a ploddy 6-miler that demonstrated how much of a morning runner I amn't but gave me an opportunity to get to know some of the nice walk/cycle paths around Tamworth.

The second was a nice tempo run that averaged out at my planned marathon pace.
