Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

OK. sort of intervalish. that went ok but the warm down seemed hard and slow, HR came down slowly.

Bit drained now so I have eaten lots of chocolate.

6 (and a half) miles during which several hat adjustments were required to account for a hellish crosswind.

I'm rehydrating on Stella Artois on account of the inclement conditions. My excuse, I'm sticking to it.

Good session in the midday heat.

Intervals 200/400/600/800/1500/800/600/400/200 (45 secs recovery between each) averaging 6:30 mile pace ish, then 2 mins rest then a 3 mile tempo run at 7:19 pace.

Love running in the heat. Oooh yes!

It's a higher form of water. As I'm still a little parched, another is in order.

Cheers :)

Didn't run today. My excuse? Had to go into school to take care of my fish...clean the tank, feed them....but I plan to do my first morning run tomorrow...haven't run in the morning in ages....then I plan to drive 4 hours to the peak district to do some hiking...will try and do 2-5 miles just to wake me up enough for the long drive. :o)

Mile warmup, 5 mile threshold, mile cool down.
Warm.
Never really settled into it, though. Legs feel a bit stiff, I think a recovery run before work tomorrow might be in order.
The threshold section was 8.17 pace, though. Nice!

Dunno how long I ran for (about 45 mins??) and absolutely no idea how far. I just went for a very pleasant pootle in the cool of the day after a long drive from visiting in Cornwall. Got the old circulation going. And it was very pleasant thank you.
