Nice run in a forest.
I am ashamed of myself though, I should of been racing today but did not feel like it
I will go and lock myself in the cupboard and stay there for the rest of the day.

Ran 4 loops of 5.4miles each lap, 21.6miles in all. Steady run, and not too fast especially careful of the pain in my right calf which bothered me on the first lap. Once i got into my running the pain subsided and i felt easier. Finished strong on Branch Road to the Windmill. Not many other runners about this morning, just myself and babciaruns.

dj dave - no need to lock yourself in the cupboard - so what if you didn't feel like racing today? dont beat yourself up about it. (but if you do lock yourself up, make sure its in the fetch cupboard!)
i feel much more cheerful after my short interval run! also had a revelation: i want to travel and see the world before i settle down and have kids. original, i know, but had never thought of it as being something i really wanted to do before. haven't told mr rig yet, mind.....

Riga,
An excellent way of seeing different places would be to do the marathon in each city...
That's what Heidi and I plan to do next year. Prague marathon first, maybe Berlin etc...
