Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I am going for no booze till Friday (at least!)

It’s so hot here it was easy to do the water today, and I went to work in a vest top (unheard of) but at least that way I wasn’t stuck in a hot long sleeve top

Clothing is an issue... my expansive middle doesn’t sit well in most of my clothes and I refuse to go up anymore sizes... I’ve two new tops that will have to last summer. I feel ok in them, as long as I keep
Rational I should start seeing them go baggy as summer continues

We’ve had a huge Greek salad tonight and pasta with chick peas and butter Beans with garlic chilli and pesto.. DELISH! Filled me right up

That’s a huge key for me, I need to find the exact balance that doesn’t leave me short, it build up to Wednesday when if I’ve not eaten well I dip into all of the food I can get my hands on

I think the water intake is really helping.. avg is 5 pint glasses, seems to be easy to drink that at the moment too

Mandymoo sounds like really positive progress there!

Another thought today (by the way do tell me to can it if I ramble on too much!) was about how to get back into morning runs

Do any of you run 1st thing? And if so what’s your secret to getting up? I’m a duvet hugger, lol, I love being in bed sleeping, but I also know if I get up and out it’s the better time of the day

Morning runs for me mean being super prepared the night before
I have everything sorted for work
Running clothes in the bathroom

And as the alarm goes off I roll out of bed and into my kit

Pick up my bag and get the train to work!
Don’t think I properly wake up till I start running!

Yuck, so hot, i didn’t run at lunchtime and it was most unpleasant walking down to the station (the bus would have been even more unpleasant and I got another 4000 steps in )

Lots of water today and fishies and salads for tea :)

Good running and money finding kwala

And good news on the getting back to running MM :)

I’m another one on a booze ban til the weekend

I dont run in the morning but the dog and I do walk 1.6 miles at 6.15am (routine).

I too have a wardrobe of clothes thst dont fit me and have got so huge around the middle it is almost making me cry but it doesn't stop me self sabotaging. Don't think my sports bra will still fit me so beat get a new one to start running in.

Today I did made the right choices at a lunch meeting (vegan curry and rice, water, tea), did my yoga/core exercises and once it was cooler I went for 20 mins walk. Not running as I have a bit of a calf problem that I'd like to resolve itself.

Also made a healthy dinner of vegetable rice with stir fried asparagus and lettuce (I know! but it was delicious) and didn't have seconds. I've chosen my notebook but not written anything in it yet.

All my weight is round my miggle, under my chin and I've noted my arms look flabby

It's a ha d knock when I've in the past been leaner... much leaner... but also I've yo yo'd by whole life for some reason this time to a much heavier weight but I do put it down to my age & that M word, plus after Yorkshireman last September my body just went into refusal.. first time ever I've not physically and mentally been able to run any distance

Small steps, taking my time and not focusing in on those things will be key for me. I'm kind of prepping for the longer term...trying to anyhow

Good work Chappo

So, who's got HIT tips? I think I could do with some weight/stamina type stuff, short sharp routine

Wow it's wall to wall sunshine here already! And I'm awake! Early run perhaps?
