Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Well done Kwala 😊

I’ve arrived here via NSC’s blog. Things have slipped a bit for me of late too, and I need support and a kick up the bum to get back on track.

Today I can be careful about drinking and eating at my friend’s 50th birthday afternoon tea and not just do either mindlessly. I’m also planning on leaving the car there so that I have to run to get it tomorrow morning

*waves to Paula* You're definitely going to get a lot of support here.

I've also got a friend's 50th today, with the double danger of booze and barbecue. It's walking distance so I will be drinking. Haven't got a much of a plan other than "think of the hangover"!! Hubby and no 2 son are both absolutely hanging today after their nights out and I don't want to waste my Sunday feeling like they are right now!!!!!

lol Mm - I'm the same - the embarrassment of someone seeing me fall would be as bad if not worse than any physical pain!!!!!

50 miles. Moor run. Parkrun PB’s!!

Loads of good stuff

We are having a couple of beers chilling out before getting the buzz home ready for Germany

My plan is going Italian the rest of the day, that means chill out, drink lots of water with my drinks, water chasers!

Another invention for you. The “rose”. We do this sometimes when you want another drink but know you be better is you have: In a wine glass, juice and sparkly water. Pretend fizzy wine

Just sayin’

Enjoy your evenings all xx. Thanks a bloody huge amount for getting fetch can going!

Come on England! Sat on the sofa watching the game

I’ve run, 2hrs on my garden project manhandling knackered trellis and fence posts.. seeeping up after attacking the vile climbing plant that creeps into our garden over the fence every year, found a birds nest in the middle of all the dead creepers!

So, rest day now. A very active morning

Realised my river route was 2.91! That sucks for me as I’m quite obsessive about a true mile or half a mile.. so went a tad further this morning

Am going to set my small steps later..,

For now - well done of all of yours this week

There is beer in the fridge but I am drinking tea while watching England. It’s working so far, and I can go for a run later.

Also watching the football here :-)

I ran this morning it was hot already at 9. I was on an out and back route, was ready to turn round for home at 2.5 miles but managed to persuade myself to do another half mile. So I did 6 nice and slow, lots of walking in amongst it as it was so hot, my nose was full of pollen and there were a bazillion flies after me!

I used my fitness pal yesterday to track calories, without really trying to be careful as well, only just went over what I was allowed. Not bad going. Will try to keep tracking on there as it does help. Small steps - being mindful of what I am eating.

Afternoon and watching football here too.

Bad night last night sleep wise so trip to A&E this morning to get checked out. Confirmed rib trauma as they now call in. Everything is hard work and painful
