Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I’m really pleased with yesterday- only one tiny chocolate thing, and three glasses of Pimms (I ate all the fruit too). We had Chinese takeaway for dinner and I had duck (no rice) and a couple of glasses of champagne.

Today I ran 5.x miles to get the car, had a bacon avocado and tomato sandwich for brunch and now I’m drinking water whilst watching the football. And none of this has been a sacrifice.

Not weighing myself daily will also be a good thing - that way madness lies ...

Take care mandymoo! Ouch!

Footy was great! I’m not as good as you all, g&t whilst watching however it’s been a pint of water in between every time.. as it’s so hot soon just water and lemon

Weighing wrecks my efforts every time, so I’m refusing to go there. For me it’s going to be clothes.. like northern it feels ace when your clothes are fitting better..

When I have done scales before the downside of running has been sometimes you don’t see anything on the scales.. is that lean muscle, water retention? Not sure but it can quickly scupper your positive of getting out there

Also observing how good it is to do your thing in the morning, set up for the day then

Loved the England game, they are all so young!!! Lol.. but nice to feel excited

I watched the game with a no caff diet coke, a glass of sparkling water and one glass of prosecco. Then went running. Then collapsed in a heap on the grass and did a very halfhearted attempt at yoga.

Then (this is bloody typical) felt like I deserved a drink and had 3 glasses of red with a BBQ. Have had to have a little snooze. I'm almost recovered and am off to select my notebook.

MissChappo... today is another day :-)

We had quite a bit of alcohol yesterday - however we had a great day and by sorting the run and then the garden in the morning we were able to sit in a new space and chill after the footy - so no guilt required..

That's my theory! LOL! :-)

I was much the same, Miss Chappo, was good during the game, went for a run, had dinner, then shared a bottle of white with Mrs D, followed by G&Ts and crisps 😕

Positive thought/thing of the day - took the car in for a service, ran the 2.5 miles home instead of getting a cab :-) Bonus positive thing, found £20 on the floor on the way back :-)

I’ve got an absolute ton of stuff to do this evening when I get home but the first one will be a 20 min HIIT session in the garden.
