Last I heard he was working hard with his physio and "on the way to recovery". I don't know what that really means, but I do hope the owd fella is doing alright.

I called the B&B and they kindly agreed to cancel my booking with no charge, even though I was well beyond their free cancellation period. I just couldn’t quite justify the journey without the event! 🙁 Oh well, roll on March and a planned hiking week! 😀 |

I’ve only just seen it’s cancelled before coming on here , we’ll still travel up as its our anniversary weekend and have a nice hotel booked so will make the most of it 👍

We’re up here for the week at the moment. Started off Tuesday with a walk up Binnsey with the velocebees, then a grey walk round Whinlatter forest. Easy day for the hounds as they aren’t as young as they were. Hoping to do High Pike and Carrock Fell tomorrow. |
