Great time Gus, well done. I knew you'd smash it. Too modest to say 4th MV50?!) Scott C (Ribenaface, formerly of this parish) 5:55 4th overall and 1st MV40 - wowsers!

Sorry to hear you had to DNF SM6, hope ankle heals quickly.

Great race. :-) G

Nice one Gus - that's a cracking time. Got to say i liked the extra climb at the end when i run it a couple of years ago. In saying that i'd never run the old route so it was just the course to me!!

SM6 - rest the ankle and get to the G24 fresh ready to get 100+. I'm sure we can do peroni during the race like i did 2 years ago ;-)

2020 race cancelled - those who were entered will be guaranteed a place in 2021 if they want it, once it opens.

Wow, that's longest away time race I've heard of canceling. Calls into question some of March ones postponed those/Oct? G

Think it's more of a prevention of groups or individuals training on the route in the coming months for the race whilst the NHS in the area is small and wouldn't be able to cope if medical attention was required!

What are other folk doing about the back-up requirements?
You must have a back-up vehicle (car, 4x4 if you have one (not required though!!)...
Who fancies a fantastic day out in the beautiful North West of Scotland on the legendary West Highland Way, supporting the lovely Sophster? Team of 2 would be best: a driver/sandwich maker and a runner/Muller rice opener. Eternal gratitude, fetchie fame and gold and jewels will be yours. (*)

It's Sat 7 August. Come on Fetchland.

* I may have lied about the gold and jewels
